Systemic Sclerosis （SSC） is a connective tissue disease characterized by thickening and fibrosis of the skin and involvement of internal organs，including digestive tract，lungs，heart，kidneys，etc. . At present，there is no specific therapy at home and abroad. In recent years，internal and external treatment of SSC with traditional Chinese medicine has achieved satisfactory clinical efficacy. Therefore，based on etiology，pathogenesis and Syndrome classification of SSC，combined with relevant research reports in recent years，the research progress of internal and external treatment of SSC in traditional Chinese medicine was summarized as follows，in order to provide reference for research and treatment of various Clinical Syndrome types of SSC.
