Objective To systematically evaluate the diagnostic value of biomarker Long non-coding RNA （lncRNA） in oral squamous cell carcinoma （OSCC）. Methods Domestic and foreign literature databases，including Pubmed，EMbase，CNKI，WanFang Data，VIP，and Cochrane Library，were searched online. The retrieval time was from the database construction to February 2022，and literatures related to the diagnosis of OSCC by lncRNA were obtained. According to the established inclusion and exclusion criteria，the literature data were independently screened，and the quality of the included studies was evaluated. Meanwhile，meta-analysis was conducted by using Stata15.0 and MetaDisc1.4. Results A total of 9 studies involving 828 OSCC and 589 control groups were finally included on the basis of inclusion criteria. The pooled sensitivity，specificity and AUC were 0.76 （95％CI: 0.67，0.83），0.77 （95％CI: 0.70，0.83） and 0.83 （95％CI: 0.80，0.86） respectively. Conclusion LncRNA shows high sensitivity and specificity in OSCC diagnosis，and lncRNA may have certain clinical diagnostic value for OSCC.
