Purpose: Study the diagnostic value of Myocardium-antibody IgM in viral Myocarditis. Method: Myocardium-antibody IgM were detected with ELISA method in 110 patients with Myocarditis and 62 control patients. Then the detected Myocardium-antibody IgM were analyzed and compared with the Myocardium-enzyme spectrum. Results:the positive rate of Myocardium-antibody IgM is 90.0% and the specificity is 87.1% in the patients with Myocarditis compared with Myocardium-enzyme spectrum
the positive rate of Myocardium-antibody IgM is higher (90.0% vs. 83.8%)
but no significant difference. Conclusion: The detection of Myocardium-antibody IgM is a simple and fast method. It can be used to help the early diagnosis of viral Myocarditis.
