Objective To investigate the preference of university students for dimorphic face.Method 90students from Southwest University with 45male students and 45female ones were randomly selected and an investigation was conducted on them with dimorphic faces obtained after processing pictures of neutral faces from LUO Yue-jia affective picture system with sexual dimorphism method as stimulus and using frequently used cue-target task in research on attentional bias.The cue effect of individuals was statistically analyzed.Results Main effect of individual facial type was insignificant（F=0.599

p=0.617）while that of cue validity was significant（F=36.352

p=0.000）.Reaction time for valid cue conditions was significantly shorter than that for invalid cue conditions.The main effect of tested sex was marginally significant（F=3.592

p=0.061）

and reaction time of the female was longer than the male.Interaction effect between facial type and tested sex

interaction between cue validity and tested sex and that between facial type and cue validity were all insignificant

and interaction between three factors namely facial type

cue validity and tested sex was also insignificant.Conclusion Reaction of the male for dimorphic face is faster than the female.There is no significant difference in attentional bias of different types of dimorphic faces among individuals

however

the reaction for female dimorphic face is a little faster than that for male dimorphic face.Valid cue can accelerate the detection of dimorphic face in individuals.
