Objective To learn about the health condition of all the staff in institute

and to promote their understanding of the importance of health care as well as the way of behaving. Method To study and analyze the health examination results of all the staff in Yunnan Arts Institute in 2006. Results The total is 90.02 %

the rate of the male staff is 95.76 %

and that of the females is 83.96 %. The P Value is less than 0.01. The difference has great significance

the five diseases of the highest morbidity rate are: high blooded fat disease（43.74 %）

hemorrhoids（38.48 %）

high uric acid blood disease（27.40 %）

fatty liver（25.05 %）

and cataract（22.87 %）. Conclusion All of the above leads to the conclusion that the school has seen a significant progress in educating and publicizing the necessity of disease prevention and control

but it also shows a high morbidity in the middle-aged male intellectuals. This shows the key significance of a periodic health examination and avoidance of dangerous disease factors.
