Objective To explore the relationship of freshman’s adaptability and social support. Method The University students adaptability questionnaire and social support questionnaire were performed by 536 freshmans. Results It showed that there was significant correlation between freshman’s adaptability and social support

but no correlation between support usalization and life self-management; There are significant differences between high social support students and low social support students for adaptability; Social support had significant predictability on relationship and role adaptability; Subjective support for relationship and occupation selection adaptability as well as objective support for relationship、environment、body and mind adaptability had significant predictability. Conclusion There were osculation relation between freshman’s adaptability and social support.
