The present study explored the characteristics of college students’ creative tendency.240 college students of southwest china university completed the Williams Creative Tendency Test. Results showed that: No difference was found on the creative tendency among different grades in college. ②The differences of the general scale and the dimensions of risk and curiosity as well between arts and science in college were significant. ③The difference of creative tendency in imagination between gender was significant. Female students scored significantly higher. ④The interaction between grade and school in curiosity was significant. The students studying science scored significantly higher the students studying arts.
