Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)is a type of long-chain RNA with a length of more than 200 nt and often exists in the nucleus. It contains polyA tail and a promoter structure and can participate in cell differentia⁃tion and reprogramming, and meanwhile,it can also be used as a diagnostic marker for certain diseases. Rheuma⁃toid arthritis(RA)is a type of systemic immune disease characterized by chronic inflammation in joint, which may lead to the destruction of bone and cartilage in joint and the loss of function. RA has a complex pathogenesis and var⁃ious influencing factors, and with the deepening of research,it has been found that lncRNA is closely associated with RA. For example, lncRNA is involved in the proliferation of synovial cells and the sustained inflammatory re⁃sponse of synovial membrane. This article reviews the research advances in lncRNA and its influence on the patho⁃genesis of RA in recent years.
