Objective To examine the quality of nursing standard operating procedure（SOP）in patients with endometrioid ovarian cancer（EOC）. Methods Using purposive sampling，60 EOC patients who were hospital⁃ized in Sichuan Treatment Center for Gynaecologic and Breast Diseases from July to December 2018 were included in the control group，and 60 EOC patients who were hospitalized from August 2019 to January 2020 were included in the experimental group. The control group was given routine nursing care for EOC，whereas the experimental group was given nursing SOP for EOC. The incidence rates of nursing adverse events and complications，mean dura⁃tion of hospitalization，mean cost of hospitalization，time to first flatus，time to first ambulation，EOC recurrence rate，and satisfaction with nursing were compared between the two groups. Results The experimental group had sig⁃nificantly lower incidence rates of nursing adverse events and complications，a significantly shorter of mean duration of hospitalization，a significantly lower of mean cost of hospitalization，significantly shorter time to first flatus and time to first ambulation，and a significantly lower of EOC recurrence rate compared with the control group（all P<0.05）. In addition，the experimental group had significantly better nursing service，nursing system，and nursing communication than the control group（all P<0.05）. Conclusion Application of nursing SOP in EOC enables pa⁃tients to get the most refined，normalized，standardized，and homogeneous nursing services，which can not only standardize nursing behaviors，but also improve the nursing quality for EOC and reduce the waste of medical re⁃sources.
