ZHU Ximin, GU Shuhe, GUO Lina. Effects of Doxofylline Combined with Pidotimod on Oxidative Stress Response in Patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome[J]. 2022,22(5):563-566.
OBJECTIVE: To probe into the effects of doxofylline combined with pidotimod on oxidative stress response in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS). METHODS: Totally 130 patients with OSAHS in Handan Central Hospital in 2020 were divided into control group and research group by random number table method
with 65 cases in each group. Both groups were given conventional therapy
the control group was treated with doxofylline
the research group was treated with pidotimod based on the control group. The clinical efficacy and adverse drug reactions of the two groups were evaluated. The degree of daytime sleepiness
the longest duration of sleep breathing disorder
sleep apnea hypopnea index(AHI)
mean oxyhemoglobin saturation(MSaO
2
)
minimum oxyhemoglobin saturation(LSaO
2
)
malondialdehyde(MDA) and serum superoxide dismutase(SOD) levels before and after treatment were compared between two groups. RESULTS: The total effective rate of research group(96.92%
63/65) was significantly higher than that of the control group(89.23%
58/65)
with statistically significant difference(P
<
0.05). After treatment
improvement of the degree of daytime sleepiness was significantly better in the research group than the control group
with statistically significant difference(P
<
0.05). After treatment
the longest duration of sleep breathing disorder of both groups were significantly shorter than before treatment
the AHI and MDA levels were significantly lower than before treatment
the SOD
LSaO
2
and MSaO
2
levels were significantly higher than before treatment
and the above indicators were significantly better in research group than in the control group
with statistically significant differences(P
<
0.05). The incidences of adverse drug reactions of research group and control group were respectively 4.62%(3/65) and 1.54%(1/65)
the difference was not statistically significant(P
>
0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy and safety of doxofylline combined with pidotimod in the treatment of OSAHS is remarkable
which can not only improve oxidative stress response and oxyhemoglobin saturation of patients
