OBJECTIVE: To systematically evaluate the effects of Wuzhi capsules on tacrolimus treatment in patients after liver and kidney transplantation

so as to provide reference for optimizing the individualized tacrolimus regime. METHODS: Major domestic and international databases were retrieved to collect the relevant literature of effects of Wuzhi capsules on tacrolimus treatment in patients after liver and kidney transplantation published from the establishment of the database to Nov. 2020（ the control group was treated with tacrolimus-based immunosuppressive regimens after liver and kidney organ transplantation

while the observation group received Wuzhi capsules on the basis of control group）. Literature screening

liver and kidney function and adverse drug reactions of tacrolimus in patients after liver and kidney transplantation after combination treatment of Wuzhi capsule were analyzed in Meta-analysis. RESULTS: Totally 8 literature were collected

including 440 patients with liver and kidney transplantation. Meta-analysis results showed that the blood concentration of tacrolimus in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group（ MD = 1. 56

CONCLUSIONS: The combined application of Wuzhi capsules after liver and kidney transplantation can significantly increase the blood concentration of tacrolimus and reduce the dosage of tacrolimus. However

the incidence of acute rejection after the use of Wuzhi capsules does not decrease

and the effects on liver and kidney function need to be further studied.
