OBJECTIVE: To probe into the effects of Maxing Shigan decoction and Qianjin Weijin decoction combined with tiotropium bromide on modified medical research council( m MRC) score
PCT level and forced vital capacity( FVC) in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease( COPD) patients of phlegm-heat obstructing lung. METHODS: Totally 80 cases of acute exacerbation of COPD patients of phlegm-heatobstructing lung admitted into Beijing First Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine from Mar. 2018 to Sept. 2019 were extracted to be divided into two groups( study group and control group) via the random number table
with 40 cases in each group. Lung function indicators [FVC

PCT
hypersensitive C-reactive protein( hs-CRP)level and MMRC score of two groups before and after treatment were recorded. The clinical efficacy of two groups was compared. RESULTS: After treatment
FVC and FEV
1
/FVC in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group; serum PCT and hs-CRP levels in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group after treatment; m MRC score in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group after treatment
and the above differences were statistically significant( P
<
0. 05). The total effective rate in the study group and the control group was respectively 95. 00%( 38/40) and 80. 00%( 32/40)
which was significantly higher in the study group
and the difference was statistically significant( P
<
0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: Maxing Shigan decoction and Qianjin Weijin decoction combined with tiotropium bromide can effectively in the treatment of acute exacerbation of COPD patients of phlegm-heat obstructing lung
