OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application of antibiotics in 27 three-level hospitals of traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing.METHODS:According to the application data of antibiotics reported by 27 three-level hospitals of traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing in 2018

statistical analysis was conducted on application rate of antibiotics in outpatient

emergency and inpatient department

drug use intensity in inpatients

prophylactic application of prophylactic antibiotics in type I incision surgery during perioperative period and detection rate of pathogenic microorganism.RESULTS:The application rate of antibiotics in outpatient

emergency and inpatient department in 27 three-level hospitals of traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing was respectively 6.13%

26.16% and43.19%

the drug use intensity in inpatients was 33.34 DDDs/（100 persons·d）.The application rate of prophylactic antibiotics in type I incision surgery during perioperative period was 23.65%

the average proportion of prophylactic use of antibiotics 0.5-2 h before surgery was 89.10%

the proportion of patients with prophylactic antibiotics treatment course≤24 h was 42.14%.The detection rate of pathogenic microorganism in inpatients receiving antibiotics was58.92%

that of inpatients treated with restricted-use antibiotics was 61.58%

and that of inpatients treated with special-use antibiotics was 79.74%.CONCLUSIONS:The application of antibiotics in 27 three-level hospitals of traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing is basically rational

but it is still necessary to strengthen the management of individual indicators of antibiotics（such as drug use intensity） to promote the rational use of clinical antibiotics.
