OBJECTIVE:To probe into the clinical characteristics and prognosis of blurred vision induced by penehyclidine hydrochloride injection based on systematic review and clinical analysis.METHODS:The cases of blurred visual induced by penehyclidine hydrochloride injection in Emergency General Hospital was collected and retrieved by CNKI
Wanfang database and CBM until Sept.2018.RESULTS:(1) Systematic review.A total of 6 clinical studies were included in the systematic review(710 patients).There was no significant difference between the incidence of blurred vision induced by penehydramnios hydrochloride injection and scopolamine(OR=1.60
95%CI=0.75-3.39
P=0.22) and atropine(OR=1.24
95%CI=0.58-2.67
P=0.58).(2) Clinical analysis.A total of 10 cases of blurred vision induced by penehyclidine hydrochloride injection were included
including 9 females and 1 male
aged 8 to 82 years
of which young people(from 18 to 40 years) were the most(7 cases
70%).In terms of purpose of administration of penehyclidine hydrochloride injection
8 cases were treated before anesthesia and 2 cases were treated for gastrointestinal spasm relief.The dosage of penehyclidine hydrochloride injection was from 0.3 to2 mg
which was overused in one elderly patient.The administration method of penehyclidine hydrochloride injection was intravenous injection and intramuscular injection.The patient showed blurred vision after taking penehyclidine hydrochloride injection and self-improvement
lasting for 16 h to 7 d:the evaluation results of the relevance of adverse drug reactions in 10 patients were " probable".CONCLUSIONS:Blurred vision induced by penehyclidine hydrochloride injection mostly occurs in young women.The incidence of blurred vision induced by penehyclidine hydrochloride injection is similar to that of scopolamine and atropine
and the clinical manifestation is near-blurriness
lasting for 1 week
and no special treatment is needed
which can get better on its own with good prognosis.
