OBJECTIVE: To probe into the effect of octreotide combined with continuous renal replacement therapy( CRRT) on the expression of serum M30 and M65 in patients with acute severe pancreatitis. METHODS: Totally 126 patients with acute severe pancreatitis admitted into the emergency department of the Third Hospital of Xingtai City from Feb. 2016 to Apr. 2019 were selected and divided into control group and observation group via random number table. The control group was given conventional therapy combined with CRRT
while the observation group was treated with octreotide acetate injection based on the control group. Differences in immune globulin
endotoxin
inflammatory factor
biochemical criterion
serum M30 and M50 levels were compared between two groups at 2 weeks after treatment. RESULTS: At 2 weeks after treatment
the total effective rate of observation group was 90. 48%( 57/63)
which was significantly higher than that of the control group( 68. 25%
43/63)
with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). At 2 weeks after treatment
the serum endotoxin
inflammatory factor( C reaction protein
interleukin 6 and tumor necrosis factor α)
biochemical criterion( serum amylase
glycolytic enzyme)
serum M30 and M65 levels of both groups had been significantly decreased
and those of the observation group were significantly lower than the control group
with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 05); while the immune globulin( IgM
IgA and IgG)and inflammatory factor( interleukin 10) levels of both groups had been significantly increased
the IgM
IgG and IL-10 levels of observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group
with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: The combination of octreotide and CRRT can significantly reduce the expression of serum M30 and M65 in patients with acute severe pancreatitis
relieve inflammatory reaction
protect pancreatic tissue
with remarkable therapeutic effect.
