OBJECTIVE: To probe into the efficacy of irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy( DN) and its effect on oxidative stress and inflammatory factor. METHODS: Totally 210 patients with DN admitted into the Second Hospital of Shijiazhuang from Nov. 2017 to Nov. 2019 were selected and divided into observation group and control group via random number table
with 105 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional therapy
while the observation group was treated with irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide based on the control group. Therapeutic effects of both groups were evaluated at 3 months after treatment
interleukin 6( IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor α( TNF-α) ]were compared between two groups. RESULTS: The clinical total effective rate of observation group was 98. 10%( 103/105)
which was significantly higher than that of the control group( 86. 67%
91/105)
with statistically significant difference( P < 0. 05). The MDA
SOD
hs-CRP
IL-6 and TNF-α levels of observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group at 3 months after treatment
with statistically significant differences( P < 0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: Irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of DN patients
relieve oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction
