OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application status of antipsychotic drugs in the Third People’s Hospital of Kunming（hereinafter referred to as "our hospital"）

so as to provide reference for the rational application in clinic.METHODS:Retrospective analysis method was adopted

statistical analysis was performed on categories

defined daily dose system（DDDs）

defined daily cost（DDC） and ranking of drug consumption sum（B）/DDDs ranking（A） of antipsychotic drugs from 2016 to 2018.RESULTS:From 2016 to 2018

the consumption sum of antipsychotic drugs in our hospital was 2 473 820

2 718 026 and 2 919 439 yuan

respectively

showing the trend of year-on-year growth.The yearon-year growth rates in 2017 and 2018 were 9.87% and 7.41%

respectively.The consumption sum of non-classic antipsychotic drugs increased year by year

while the consumption sum of classic antipsychotic drugs decreased year by year.Among non-classical antipsychotic drugs

the DDDs of ziprasidone hydrochloride capsules and risperidone tablets dominated the top 3 places.Among the classic antipsychotic drugs

perphenazine tablets

suprapride tablets and pentaflurido tablets ranked the top 3 in DDDs.The DDC of non-classical antipsychotic drugs was higher than that of the classic antipsychotic drugs.Except for risperidone tablets and amisulpride tablets

the DDC of other antipsychotic drugs did not change significantly.The B/A of non-classical antipsychotic drugs such as ziprasidone hydrochloride capsules

clozapine tablets and classic antipsychotic drugs such as sulpiride tablets

perphenazine tablets

chlorpromazine tablets and pentafluridol tablets were all >1.CONCLUSIONS:Among the application of antipsychotic drugs in our hospital

the application of non-classical antipsychotic drugs with significant efficacy and higher safety is increasing year by year.In the actual application

it is still necessary to consider the actual condition and financial situation of the patient to choose the appropriate drugs.
