OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Shenfu injection in the treatment of shock
so as to provide evidence-based evidence for clinical practice.METHODS: PubMed
the Cochrane Library
CNKI
Wanfang database and SinoMed database were systematically retrieved to collect the systematic review/Meta-analysis of Shenfu injection in the treatment of shock. Two reviewers screened the literature
extracted the data and evaluated the quality according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria
and then comprehensively sorted out and analyzed the evidence.RESULTS: Totally 7 systematic reviews/Meta-analyses were enrolled. The methodology was of medium quality. In terms of effectiveness
compared with conventional therapy
Shenfu injection combined with conventional therapy could improve the efficiency( patients with undifferentiated shock: OR = 2.35
95%CI = 1.52-3.65; patients with cardiogenic shock: OR = 3.21
95%CI = 1.70-6.06; patients with acute myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock: OR = 0.35
95%CI = 0.20-0.57)
improve the mean arterial pressure after 6 h of administration( patients with septic shock: SMD =0.82
95%CI = 0.03-1.61)
reduce the blood lactate value after 6 h of administration( patients with septic shock:SMD =-0.51
95%CI =-0.70--0.32)
reduce the heart rate after 6 h of administration( patients with septic shock:SMD =-0.90
95% CI =-1.47--0.33) and reduce the mortality
with statistically significant differences.Data on safety were not analyzed statistically.CONCLUSIONS: Combined with Shenfu injection on the basis of conventional therapy can improve the effectiveness of shock treatment( including septic shock and cardiogenic shock) and reduce the mortality.Yet the comparative safety data are insufficient
and further high-quality clinical studies should be conducted to validate the results.
