OBJECTIVE: To probe into the application value of method of qi-tonifying

yang-warming

stasisresolving and diuresis-promoting in the treatment of chronic heart failure（heart-kidney yang-deficiency type） and its effect on ventricular remodeling and cardiac function. METHODS: Totally 91 patients with chronic heart failure（heartkidney yang-deficiency type） admitted into the Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of TCM from Jun. 2017 to Dec.2018 were enrolled and divided via random number table. The control group（45 cases） was treated with western medicine alone

while the observation group（46 cases） was given traditional Chinese medicine of qi-tonifying

yangwarming

stasis-resolving and diuresis-promoting based on the control group. After 6-month treatment

the lipoproteinrelated phospholipase A2（Lp-PLA2）

angiotensina Ⅱ（Ang Ⅱ）

N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide（NTproBNP）

indices of cardiac ultrasound [left ventricular ejection fraction（LVEF）

left ventricular end systolic diameter（LVESD） and left ventricular end diastolic diameter（LVEDD） ]

6 min walking distance（6 MWD）

scores of living with heart failure questionnaire（LHFQ） and incidences of adverse drug reactions of both groups were observed. RESULTS: After treatment

the Lp-PLA2

Ang Ⅱ and NT-proBNP levels of observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group

with statistically significant differences（P<0. 05）. After treatment

the LVEF level of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group

while the LVESD and LVEDD levels were significantly lower than those of the control group

with statistically significant differences（P <0. 05）. After treatment

the LHFQ score of observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group

while the 6 MWD was significantly longer than that of the control group

with statistically significant differences（P<0. 05）. The incidences of adverse drug reactions of observation group and control group were respectively 19. 57%（9/46） and 22. 22%（10/45）

the difference was not statistically significant（P>0. 05）. CONCLUSIONS: Western medicine combined with traditional Chinese medicine of qi-tonifying

yang-warming

stasis-resolving and diuresispromoting can improve the ventricular remodeling of patients with chronic heart failure（heart-kidney yang-deficiency type）

which can promote the life quality

safe and reliable.
