OBJECTIVE: To probe into the stability of 4 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine injections for heatclearing and detoxification compatible with solvents. METHODS: Four kinds of traditional Chinese medicine injections（ Xiyanping Injection

Reduning Injection

Tanreqing Injection and Aidi Injection） for heat-clearing and detoxification were selected as study objects

indices including appearance

pH

insoluble particles and changes of main active ingredient concentration after infusion preparation were measured

the effects of different solvent

storage period and precise infusion apparatus were investigated. RESULTS: The 4 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine injections can maintain good stability within 6 hours after dilution

the utilization of precision infusion apparatus（ 5 μm filter membrane） can significantly reduce the number of insoluble particles without affecting the main active ingredients concentration. CONCLUSIONS: In order to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medication

clinical infusion preparation and operation management should be standardized during the use of traditional Chinese medicine injections

and its compatibility with other drugs should be avoid; the utilization of precision infusion apparatus can reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions caused by insoluble particles.
