OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of low molecular heparin on coagulation function
immune function and antioxidant level in patients with severe pneumonia. METHODS: Totally 100 patients with severe pneumonia admitted into Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from Mar. 2016 to Mar. 2019 were extracted to be divided into the observation group and the control group via the random number table
with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional treatment
while the observation group received low molecular heparin combined with conventional treatment. Both groups were treated for 7 days. Fibrinogen( FIB)
D-dimer( D-D)
immunoglobulin G( IgG)
immunoglobulin A( IgA)
immunoglobulin M( IgM)
superoxide dismutase( SOD)
malondialdehyde( MDA)
glutathione peroxidase( GSH-Px)
procalcitonin( PCT)
tumor necrosis factor-α( TNF-α) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein( hs-CRP) of two groups were observed before and after treatment.RESULTS: Before and after treatment
there was no significant difference in the levels of FIB
D-D
IgG
IgA and IgM in the control group( P > 0. 05). After treatment
the levels of SOD and GSH-Px in the control group were significantly higher than those before treatment
and the levels of MDA
PCT
TNF-α
and hs-CRP were significantly lower than those before treatment
the differences were statistically significant( P<0. 05). After treatment
the levels of FIB
D-D
MDA
PCT
TNF-α and hs-CRP in the observation group were significantly lower than those before treatment
and the levels of IgG
IgA
IgM
SOD and GSH-Px were significantly higher than those before treatment
the differences were statistically significant( P<0. 05). After treatment
the levels of FIB
D-D
MDA
PCT
TNF-αand hs-CRP in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group
the levels of IgG
IgA
IgM
SOD and GSH-Px were significantly higher than those in the control group
the differences were statistically significant( P<0. 05). CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of low molecular heparin combined with conventional treatment in patients with severe pneumonia is significant
low molecular heparin can significantly improve the coagulation and immune function of patients
reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory response injury.
