OBJECTIVE: To explore the clinical effect of Yindan Xinnaotong soft capsule combined with Metoprolol tartrate tablets in the treatment of coronary heart disease with angina pectoris. METHODS: 102 patients with coronary heart disease with angina pectoris who were admitted to Hainan Provincial Anning Hospital from Aug. 2015 to Aug.2018 were selected and divided into control group and research group via random number table

with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Metoprolol tartrate tablets

while the research group was treated with Yindan Xinnaotong soft capsule combined with Metoproprol tartrate tablets. Differences in clinical efficacy

blood lipid indices[triacylglycerol（ TG）

total cholesterol（ TC）

low density lipoprotein cholesterin（ LDL-C） and high density lipoprotein cholesterin（ HDL-C） ]

cardiac function indexs[left ventricular end-systolic dimension（ LVESD）

left ventricular end-diastolic dimension（ LVEDD） and left ventricular ejection fraction（ LVEF） ]

hemorheology indices[whole blood viscosity（ WBV）

fibrinogen（ FIB） and platelet adhesion rate（ PAR） ]

frequency and duration of angina pectoris were compared between two groups

and incidences of adverse drug reactions of two groups were recorded. RESULTS: After treatment

the total effective rates of angina and ECG of research group were significantly higher than those of the control group

with statistically significant differences（ P<0. 05）. After treatment

the levels of HDL-C and LVEF levels in the two groups were significantly higher than those of before treatment

and those of the research group were significantly higher than the control group; the levels of TG

LVESD and LVEDD levels in the two groups were significantly lower than those of before treatment

and those of the research group were significantly lower than the control group

with statistically significant differences（ P < 0. 05）.After treatment

the frequency and duration of angina pectoris in the two groups were significantly improved compared with that before treatment; the frequency of angina pectoris of research group was significantly less than that of the control group

and the duration of angina pectoris of research group was significantly shorter than that of the control group

with statistically significant differences（ P<0. 05）. The incidences of adverse drug reactions of research group and control group were respectively 25. 49%（ 13/51） and 17. 65%（ 9/51）

the difference had no statistical significance（ P>0. 05）. CONCLUSIONS: Yindan Xinnaotong Soft Capsule combined with metoprolol tartrate tablets is effective in the treatment of coronary heart disease with angina pectoris. It can effectively improve cardiac function index

hemorheology index and blood lipid index.
