Objective: To investigate the current situation and influencing factors of antimicrobial cognition among parents of children with asthma in Qingdao area. Methods: A total of 386 parents who attended to the standardized outpatient clinic for children’s asthma in the Laoshan Hospital of the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from March to April 2021 were selected as the survey objects
and the questionnaire survey software Wenjuanxing was used to collect and sort the collected data. Results: For the 5 items of rational application of antibacterial drugs
the cognition correct rates all exceeded 55%
and 23. 3% of parents still believed that antibacterial drugs were effective against viral infections. Compared with the cognition level of antibacterial drugs by groups
it was found that there were statistical differences in the cognition level of different gender
education level
family income
and medical background (all P< 0. 05). Conclusion: There are still some misunderstandings in the cognition of antibacterial drugs among parent groups. It is necessary to strengthen the knowledge education of antibacterial drugs to eliminate the hidden dangers of abuse of antibacterial drugs.
