Objective:To explore the impact of connective tissue growth factor(CTGF)on proliferation and migration of human pancreatic cancer PANC-1.Methods:Ability of proliferation and migration were tested after recombinant adenovirus mediated CTGF over-expression by MTT assay
and locomotory capacity and colony-forming capacity were observed by transwell assay and tumor cell colony formation assay in human pancreatic cancer cells PANC-1.Results:High expression of CTGF suppressed the proliferation of human pancreatic cancer cells by MTT assay. The ability of migration and colony forming were suppressed as well when CTGF over expressed by transwell assay and tumor cell colony formation assay. Conclusion:Over expression of connective tissue growth factor(CTGF) might inhibit the proliferation and migration of human pancreatic cancer cell.
