with no neurological deficits and the patients with surgical treatment took the proportion of 95.06% in all ossified cephalhematoma infants. The surgical method was shaving the newly formed bone and correcting the asymmetry of skull. Conclusion:The reason due to incorrect awareness of handing with the cephalhematoma
so that the cephalhematoma ossified gradually.cephalhematoma begin ossified about the 3 weeks. It’s important to make early intervention to prevent ossify. The surgical correction will be needed in cases of ossified cephalhematoma and asymmetry of skull to correct the asymmetry of skull and resultant deformity. The prognosis is good.
