Objective:To investigate the treatment method and curative effect of residual biliary stones in the biliary tract by choledochoscope.Methods:220 cases of postoperative residual biliary tract stones were treated in our hospital from April 2005 to June 2010 by using choledochoscope
balloon dilators
stone nets
biopsy forceps
automatic flushing system and electrohydraulic lithotripsy system. Results:The residual stones of 207 out of the 220 patients got removed. The removing rate was 94.09%.The stone removing number of times was 1-8 times
with an average of(3.48±1.80) times. There were 5 cases of postoperative hematobilia
4 cases of cholangitis
one case of subcutaneous infection of blind loop
and no bile duct or bowel perforation. Conclusion:The treatment for postoperative residual biliary tract stones by choledochoscope via the T tube sinus tract or subcutaneous blind loop is of significant effect. It should be the first choice to treat residual bile duct stones with the advantages of small operation wound
fewer complications
no hospitalization or anesthesia.
