ZHONG Hua, et al. Infrared fluoroscopic navigation guiding PKP for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 2010,35(11):1710-1712.
Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of infrared fluoroscopic navigation guiding system guided percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP) for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures. Methods : From October 2006 to December 2008
32 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compressive fracture
including 75 vertebral body
were treated with PKP with infrared fluoroscopic navigation guiding system
postoperative symptomatic improvement、the height restoration of vertebral body and VAS score were recorded and analyzed. Results:All operations were completed successfully
no neurologic symptoms appeared postoperatively and the back pain of the patients were relieved in 24 hours.X-ray examinations revealed that the vertebrae were restored and the kyphosis was corrected obviously
VAS pain score showed a big significance. Conclusion:Infrared fluoroscopic navigation guiding system guided PKP corresponded with intelligent navigation and microinvasive surgery
is more precise、safe and effective to treat the osteoporotic vertebral fractures.
