Objective:To observe the efficacy of 99Tc-MDP combined with MTX and LEF on rheumatoid arthritis change in laboratory indexes.Methods:57 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in the treated group(n=30) were given the 99Tc-MDP combined with MTX and LEF

and patients in the control group(n=27) were given oral drugs only.The joint symptoms

change of laboratory indexes and time of symptom improvement were measured in two groups before and after treatment.Results:In the treated group there were 7 excellent cases

20 effective cases

3 invalid cases

the total effective rate being 90%.In the control group there were 3 excellent cases

15 effective cases

9 invalid cases

the total effective rate being 66.67%.There were statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The group treated with 99Tc-MDP showed the statistical difference in meliorating ankylosis

lessening the pain and swell

as well as reducing ESR and CRP(P<0.05～0.01).Conclusions:99Tc-MDP can efficiently and effectively improve the symptoms and laboratory indexes of rheumatoid arthritis in a safe way.
