Objective:To compare the effects of long-acting antibacterial material JUC on operative incisions of circumcision with traditional dressing in isolating operative incisions
long-acting antisepsis
and preventing infection of incisional wounds.Methods:108 cases of circumcision were done
55 of which(treated group)were spraied with JUC and 53(control group)were bandaged with traditional dressing. The appearance
infection rate
and detection rate of bacterium in operative incisions were observed in two groups. Results: There was no significant difference in secretion
reaction
infection rate and detection rate of bacterium in incisional wound between control and treated group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with traditional dressing
JUC has similar effects on circumcisions in the aspects of isolating operative incisions
long-acting antisepsis and preventing infection of incisional wound.
