Experimental study on general pharmacological actions of bencycloquidium bromide[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 2007,(5):506-510. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.2007.05.034.
Objective:To study the general pharmacological actions of bencycloquidium bromide. Methods:Bencycloquidium bro- mide was administered through nasal mucosa in high
medium and low doses to mice and beagle dogs. The psycho-nervous action
enraging response
voluntary movement
bronchus gland excretion
small intestine peristalsis of mice were observed
and the cardiovascular and respiratory reactions of beagle dogs were detected. Results:Bencycloquidium bromide had no obvious effect on cardiovascular and respiratory systems of beagle dogs;but it had inhibitory action on central nerve system of mice which can be relieved later. It could also decrease the excretion of bronchus gland and the peristalsis of small intestine. Conclusion:Bencycloquidium bromide had no obvious effect on cardiovascular system and respiratory system in animals;but had certain inhibitory action on central nerve system
and could decrease the excretion of bronchus gland and inhibit the peristalsis of small intestine in animals.
