Objective:To investigate and compare the effects of Gypenosides and Ginkgo Bilobal Flavone on acute myeloid leukemia cells(HL-60).Methods:MTT was used to investigate the proliferation inhibition of HL-60 with different dosages and various action periods of Gypenosides and Ginkgo Bilobal Flavone at a range of final concentrations of 0.025~0.8mg/ml(P
<
0.05). Flow cytometry was applied to determine the effects on cell growth cycle. Results:Both of Gypenosides and Ginkgo Bilobal Flavone significantly inhibited the cell number of G

and induce the apop- tosis of HL-60.Conclusion:Gypenosides and Ginkgo Bilobal Flavone both have notable inhibitory effects on growth of HL-60
and the mechanism involves the inhibition of G
