LIU Xinwei, et al. Analysis of 84 cesarean section cases with general anesthesia[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 2005,(4):612-614. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.2005.04.037.
Objective:To analyze the influence of different delivery interval
emergency/elective operations
normal/low birth weight infants on their Apgar scores in cesarean section with general anesthesia and intra-operative awareness.Methods:84 pregnant women over 36 week in labor were divided into the contracted groups according to anesthesia induction to delivery interval (ID) lower or over 10 min
incision uterine to delivery interval (UD) lower or over 3 min
emergency or elective cases
and infants weight lower 2.5kg or equal and over 2.5kg.Anesthesia was induced with thiopental
succinylcholine and maintained with N
2
O
Halothane and pancuronium or atracurium.Morphine or fentanyl bolus injected intravenously after delivery. Results:There were better Apgar scores (P
>
0.05) observed in short delivery time in induction-delivery (ID
<
10min) and incision uterine-delivery (UD
<
3min).The elective group showed better Apgar scores (P
>
0.05) than the emergency group. There were significant (P
<
0.05) differences observed in Apgar scores between low birth weight group and normal weight baby group.Intra-operative awareness was 10.71% in patients. Conclusion:The shorter the delivery interval the higher the Apgar scores. The pre-operative maternal and foetal status will directly affect infants Apgar scores.Infants with lower weight delivered cesarean section under general anesthesia easily present lower Apgar scores.
