The expression of CD44 standard form and CD44 splice variant V6 in gastric carcinoma[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 2000,(4):342-344. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.2000.04.003.
:Objective To study the expression of CD44S and CD44V6 in gastric carcinoma. Methods 44 human surgically resected samples of primary gastric carcinoma using SP immunohistochemical staining method. Results The positive expression rates of CD44S and CD44V6 were 36.4%(16/44) and 38.6%(17/44) in primary carcinoma; in addition
there were relationships between CD44S and Lauren types of gastric carcinoma
but there were not between CD44V6 and Lauren types. When CD44S and CD44V6 expressed positively in primary site
the lymph node metastasis rates of gastric carcinoma were 80%(12/15)
83.3%(10/12) respectively. Conclusion The results suggested that CD44S and CD44V6 played major roles in invasive growth and lymph node metastasis of gastric carcinoma.
