simple and minimal tissue injured approach of augmentation mammoplasty under local anaesthesia. Methods Augmentation mammoplasty was performed with short insicion near operative areas (inframammary or anterior axillary incision) under local anesthesia and 1-4 year’ follow up was taken to observe the long-term results. Results No bleeding
hematoma and infections occurred and good wound healing was achieved after operation in 66 cases. It was good in the contour of the breasts with softness and no fibrous capsule sclerosis formation after 1-4 year follow up. Conclusion In augmentation mammoplasty with short insicion near the dissected pocket under local anesthesia there are many advantages such as safety
convenience
simplicity
minimal tissue injury
less postoperative complications
no remarkable scars
good contouring of breasts and rare formation of fibrous capsule sclerosis. Therefore
these insicions are the optimum selection with the consent of the patient.
