Objective To analyze the reaction or complication to intervention therapy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and treatment. Methods The authors collected 68 cases with hepatocellular carcinoma proved by our diagnosis and cure. It included 64 males and 4 females. 9 cases were treated with perfusion alone and 59 in combination with embolism therapy (52 cases used lipiodol alone and 7 in combination with gelatin sponge) were performed. Results Gastrointestinal reaction、fever、discomfort in liver、leucopenia、impaired liver function and local reaction were observed
and severe complications such as upper-digestive tract hemorrhage and septicemia were also seen. Conclusion To recognise the causes of the reaction or complication to intervention therapy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma is favorable to different treatment. It can raise the life quality of patients and be good for next treatment.
