Study on the distribution and sensitivity of 290 strains of systemic candidiasis spp[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 2000,(3):280-281. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.2000.03.021.
Objective To investigate the nosocomial infection rate of systemic Candidiasis spp
the distribution and sensitivity to the antifungal agent of Candida spp. Methods A retrospective study was applied to investigate the distribution and sensitivity of 290 strains of systemic Candiadiasis spp isolated from 1997-1999 in our hospital. Results The infection rate in the three years were 9.9%
13.5% and 19.6% respectively. Among the 290 strains
Candida albicans and Candida tropicalis were most common. Sensitivity result showed that Candida albicans were sensitive to all tested antifungal drugs
but Candida tropicalis were only sensitive to Flucytosine、 Amphotericin B、 Nystatin and had a hight rate intermediated to azol antifungal drugs. Conclusion Candida spp infection was increasing recently and played an important role in nosocomial infection. Candida spp had cross resistance to azole antifungal agents.
