Studies of mouse blastocysts implantation on human amniotic basement membrane[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 2000,(2):134-137. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.2000.02.009.
Objective: To develop a new embryo implantation model with human amnion. Methods:Culture the mouse blastocysts on day 4 of pregnancy on human amniotic basement membrane and observe microscopically. Results :Mice blastcysts developed normally experiencing shedding zona pellucida
attachment and outgrowth. There was no difference between the percentage of blastocysts shedding zona pellucida and attachment cultured on the membrane and in the 96-well plates while the percentage of outgrowing blastocycts on the membrane was significantly lower than that in the plates. However
light microscopic examination indicated that trophoblasts invaded the basement membrane while it was impossible to do so on the plastic or glass surfaces. Conclusion: Human amnion could be used as substratum of in vitro model for peri-implantation development of mouse blastocysts.
