JIANG You-fan, et al. Expression of EGF. EGFR and PCNA in patient with lung cancer[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 2000,(1):29-32. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.2000.01.010.
The expression of EGF、EGFR and PCNA in 52 patients with lung cancer was observed with immunohiStochemical s-p methods in this study. EGF. EGFR and PCNA expression in patients with lung cancer was significantly higher than those in normal controls. The positive staining rate of EGF and EGFR in 46 patients with NSCLC were 60.90% and 63%
respectively. The incidence of EGFR expression was higher in patients with metastasis than in patients without metastasis (P<0.05). The positive staining of PCNA in 52 patients with lung cancer was 78. 8%. EGF and EGFR expression was significantly correlated to the clinical stage and grading of NSCLC. PCNA expression was associated with NSCLC grading. EGF、 EGFR overexpression were related to the expression of PCNA. Positive correlations between EGF and EGFR overexpression and high metastatic rate
poor tumor differentation and high rate of tumor proliferation were found. The findings suggest that EGF and EGFR overexpression can be used as an independent prognostic factor marker for patients with lung cancer.
