Effect of perforative vein insufficiency with skin damage of varicosity in the lower extremity[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 1998,(4):387-388. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.1998.04.019.
49patients(62 limbs)with varicosity in lower extremity were tested. The results showed Venous Refill Time(VRT)
segment venous capacititance(SVC)and maximum venous outflow(MVO)of perforative vein insufficiency compared with those of normal perforative vein. The differences were significant (P<0.01).The perforative vein insufficiency with skin damage occurred in 75.6%.These suggested that changes of hemodynamics in perforative vein insufficiency is an important reason of skin damage. It’s a basis to handle the perforative vein insufficiency in the treatment if skin damage.
