A comparative study of the cilinical features between the alcoholic cirrhosis and the hepatitic cirrhosis[J]. Journal of Chongqing Medical University, 1998,(4):359-361. DOI: 10.13406/j.cnki.cyxb.1998.04.011.
The clinical features of the alcoholic cirrhosis(AC)and hepatitic cirrhosis(HC)were compared in a total of 62 cases with AC and 311 cases with HC.The resultes showed the incidence of AC was significantly higher for workers than that of HC for other occupations(P<0.01).The incidence of AC was significantly higher in the >60 age group(33.9%)than that of HC(13.5%)(P<0.01).The plysical findinge of the upper abdominal pain
jau ndice and hepatomegaly were frequently found in patients with AC
The serum levels of AST:ALT ratio
GGT
ALP were significantly higher in AC than in HC(P<0.01).On the other hand
the incidence of ascites and splenomegaly were significantly higher in HC than in AC(P<0.01).These results suggested that the clinical features of AC were mainly hepatic dysfunction
while that of HC preponderate in portal hypertension. The prognosis of AC was much better than that of HC.
