The plasmic artrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) Levels of 115 cases of normal pre gnant women in the first
serond and third trimester
and 42 cases of nonpregnant women
and 15 cases of pregnancyinduced hypertention (PIH) were studied by radio immunoassay. The results indicated that the plasmic ANP levels in the normal pregnant women were higher than that in the nonpregnant
and the ANP started to rise in the first trimester
reached a peak in the second frimester
and began to desvend in the third frimester. The plasmic ANP levels of PIH were higher than that of the normal pregnant women
