The total number of iron deficiency (ID+IDE + IDA) was 26.5%.The incidence of IDA was significantly lower than other domestic report which indicated that health care organization was effective in preventing iron deficiency. The incidence of occult iron deficiency was still high in our group

particularly in chidren under 3 years of age. So it is still necessary to emphasize the need of iron deficient prevention and treatment
