To evaluate the prognostic factors of dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM)
117 cases aged 13 to 73 years with DCM were studied. The mean follow-up period was 26.08+4.38 months. During this period 33(28.2%) patients died. 117 patients could be categorized into two groups! (1) surviving group
(2) death group(subgroups). Cardiac size
functional class
and ECG finding were compared. In these groups
functional class 3-4
severe cardiac enlargement were the most important prognostic indicators by both univariated and multivariated analyses
and malignant ventricular arrhythmias and iatraventricular block were also significant
