Abstract

The intestinal parasites among the rural population in Baxian near Chungqing have been surveyed. 487 cases were examined.The fecal examinations were made by simple direct smear and modified Willi’s brine floatation concentration techniques for detecting helminthic ova and by iodine and iron-hematoxylin staining methods for protozoan cysts
