Assisted reproduction technology(ART)delivers new approach and hope for human reproduction. Meanwhile
the utilization of ART brings more challenges to perinatal medicine
such as high incidence of multiplets pregnancy
pregnancy complications
and over use of ovulation induction drugs. Improving implantation rate and pregnancy maintenance is critical to enhancing success rate of ART. Endometrial receptivity might be influenced by ART
and ultimately result in trophoblast associated placenta-origin diseases
which create adverse intrauterine environment for infants and thus compromised fetal programming. Hence
further investigating the impact of ART on endometrial receptivity and trophoblast physiological function
the use of metabolomics to analyze maternal metabolome profile
and the development of immune-regulatory treatments for improving implantation could be promising for reducing the risks of adverse pregnancy outcomes and offspring health issues induced by ART.
