Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of interceed absorbable adhesion barrier in the prevention of intrauterine adhesions after hysteroscope operation among patients with moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions. Methods :Totally 72 cases of moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions from June 2015 to June 2016 in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were collected
and they were divided into two groups:interceed group(40 cases) and chitosan group(32 cases). Patients of interceed group were treated with TCRA+E2V+GH+interceed absorbable adhesion barrier
while patients of chitosan group were treated with TCRA+E2V+GH+chitosan. Patients of two groups were followed up to understand uterine recovery after 1 and 3 months and endometrial recovery after 6 months. Results:The effective rate of interceed group after 1 and 3 months was remarkably higher than that of the chitosan group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). The thickness of endometrium after 3 months in the interceed group was thicker than that in the chitosan group
with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion:Interceed absorbable adhesion barrier is effective in the treatment of moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions.
