Objective:To compare the incidence of surgery related complications of children with scoliosis between traditional care mode and doctor-nurse collaborative care mode
and to look for the better care mode to improve the postoperative quality of life of those patients. Methods:Totally 102 patients receiving scoliosis correction surgery from June of 2005 to August of 2014 were selected as the research objects. On the basis of the two care models
implementation time was taken as the cut-off point and the patients were divided into traditional care model group and doctor-nurse collaborative care mode group. Length of hospital stay
operative time
anesthesia time
postoperative analgesia
postoperative fever days
the first defecation time and postoperative complications of the two groups were compared. Results:There was no difference in operative time
anesthesia time
postoperative analgesia between two groups(P>0.05). The length of hospital stay
postoperative fever days
the first defecation time and postoperative complications were significantly different between two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion:Doctor-nurse collaborative care mode can significantly reduce the length of hospital stay
reduce postoperative fever days
shorten the first defecation time and reduce the postoperative complications. The care mode is conducive to the postoperative recovery of hospitalization children.
