Wanfang Data and VIP were searched by two independent reviewers. The endline is April 14 th
2015. Prospective cohort studies or case-control studies about OBI and HCC were screened out by inclusive and exclusive criteria. Quality of the included literature was evaluated and data were extracted. Review Manager 5.3software was used for Meta analysis. Further more
Meta analysis of OBI between cryptogenic HCC and HBs Ag negative and anti-HCV negative HCC was conducted respectively. Results:Eight researches were screened out in this study finally
including seven retrospective studies and one prospective study. Seven retrospective studies of 1 945 patients were included in our study
and 561 hepatocellular carcinomas were included. Meta-analysis results indicated that OBI can increase the risk of HCC(OR=9.28

heterogeneity(χ2=5.61
df=5(P=0.35);I2=11%)after excluding one study because of heterogeneity. There was no statistical difference in other side effects between the two groups(P >0.05). Conclusion:OBI can increase the risk of HCC
which is of clinical guiding significance.
