Objective: To evaluate the performance of CA-1500 automatic coagulometer. Methods: Items of prothrombin time (PT)

activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT)

fibrinogen (Fg)

D-Dimer

antithrombin III (AT-III) were included to evaluate the system of Coagulation

Chromogenic and Immunoassay. Results:After linear regression analysis

all examined items were found to show good linearity

and their corelation coefficient were over 0.97

CV was lower than 5%. Carried contaminating rate of PT was 0.2%，and its rate of APTT was 4.6%. The effect of hemolysis on the result was slight (Ｐ>0.05

by Student T test). Conclusion: CA-1500 automatic coagulometer shows relatively high accuracy. The effect of hemolysis was slight. The carried contaminating could be well eliminated. It also has the capability of examining 120 species per hour and saving as many as 1000 records. The CA-1500 has excellent multiplicity of examining component and record printing

and is suitable for routine examination.
