Objective: To examine IgG antibody after BALB/C mice were immunized by recombinant BCG-Sj26GST vaccine of schistosoma japonicum at different time. Methods:4 mice immunized subcutaneously and intravenously by 106 CFU vaccine respectively were killed to gather sera on 0、4、8、10、14 and 16w of immunization respectively. IgG antibody was detected by routine ELISA and PBS served as control. Results: IgG antibody increased remarkably on 4w
reached the highest level on 10w and lasted at a higher level in the end of 16w both in the subcutaneous and intravenous group; IgG antibody in the intravenous group was higher than that in the subcutaneous group on 10w of immunization. Conclusion: Intravenous injection is a better route than subcutaneous injection when recombinant BCG-Sj26GST vaccine of schistosoma japonicum is immunized.
